Dr. Niamh Joyce, MB BCh BAO, BE, BA, MSc, MRCPI, MRCOG, FRCPI, is a consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mayo University Hospital with over a decade of specialist experience in women’s health. She has particular expertise in hormonal health, fertility, fertility preservation consultation, menopause care, and general gynaecology including colposcopy.

She has trained and worked in leading centres including the National Maternity Hospital fertility hub, Merrion Fertility Clinic, IVF clinics in the UK, the menopause clinic at University College London Hospital (UCLH), and the menopause service at Princess Anne Hospital, Southampton, where she also covered busy labour wards. This broad experience allows her to support women comprehensively throughout their reproductive and hormonal health journeys.

Alongside her professional career, Dr. Joyce is a mother of three. Having navigated pregnancy, motherhood, and full-time medical training, she understands first hand the pressures and transitions women face at different stages of life. She is especially passionate about guiding women through the perimenopausal transition, combining her medical expertise with an empathetic, practical perspective.

In addition to her hospital practice, Dr. Joyce is an entrepreneur and advocate for women’s health, taking the lead in creating new ways for women to access trusted, expert care outside of traditional healthcare settings. She is committed to empowering women with knowledge and choices, so they can approach their health with confidence and clarity.
